Yosemite Self Portraits
I had a wonderful trip to Yosemite with my Dad, one I will always remember. It was my first time to Yosemite and the first time that my Dad and I took a trip together.
My Dad has a fascination for dams, so our first hike of the trip was to Hetch Hetchy Reservoir and O'Shaughnessy Dam, which you can see in the background of this image.
Unfortunately during our stay in Yosemite there was a toxic waste spill on Highway 41, closing the road into Yosemite for more then 24 hours (you can read more here). We happened to be outside of the park at this time and could not return to our campground for the evening. We ended up staying at The Pines Resort at Bass Lake, which was a amazing location with cute wood cabin rooms.
Like everything in Yosemite our campground, Upper Pines, was beautiful and the perfect spot to relax and read a good book.

Guest Teacher at Brooks Institute of Photography
I recently had the honor of being invited to guest
teach at Brooks Institute of Photography.
My wonderful Masters Adviser, Dr. Gwendolyn McClure
is teaching a class called, The Psychology of Creativity.
I lectured on Self Portrait photography as a means
to access your unconscious and the creative
impact Self Portraits have on my
commercial work.
